Compliance?
Consider it covered.

As fully regulated agents, we protect your interests through membership of The Property Ombudsman (TPO), Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) and Deposit Protection Service (DPS). We’re also registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), ensuring compliance with UK GDPR and data protection standards.

Strict client money protection

Ring-fenced client accounts

Rents and deposits are held in a separate client account, fully insured and legally protected through our Client Money Protection certification.

No stored card details

We use secure, industry-standard payment processors to handle transactions. Ultralets never actually sees or stores your raw bank or card details.

Smart fraud checks

We use digital ID verification tools to spot fake documents and run thorough Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks before any tenancy is signed.

How we handle your data:

The principle of ‘least privilege’

Not every member of our team can see everything. We use strict access controls and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), meaning staff only see the specific landlord or tenant info they need to do their job.

Human defences

Often, the most vulnerable part of the business isn’t the systems, it’s the people. That's why our entire team does regular training to spot phishing emails and social engineering scams.

Full encryption

Any data you send us or we send you, from bank details to tenancy agreements, is completely encrypted both in transit and at rest.

Proudly Cyber Essentials certified:

We are fully accredited under the UK government-backed Cyber Essentials scheme. This isn’t a legal requirement for letting agents, and most won’t have this accreditation. However, we take security very seriously at Ultralets. This means our systems are independently audited and proven to block the vast majority of common cyber threats. It’s not just a badge for us, we keep our hardware and our software updated daily to keep it that way.
