It typically takes around 10 minutes to complete the request form. We aim to respond to your request within 5 working days, but this can sometimes take longer.

We may contact you during this process for further information. You may be subject to a credit check prior to your request being put forward to the landlord.

We will need to contact all parties affected by this change to confirm the details.

Requesting the change doesn’t mean it is approved. We still need to carry out referencing and get your landlord's approval. Please do not initiate any changes in your living circumstances until your request is approved, as you may be in breach of tenancy.

When any change is made to a tenancy, we need to re-verify affordability and eligibility to rent. Please check the requirements for each upload type and attach your files accordingly.

If you are removing someone from a tenancy, we only require these documents for the remaining tenant(s).

If you are adding someone to the tenancy, we require all of the documents for each resident.

Your history

Please don't be offended, these are questions we ask everybody. We ask these questions again in case your circumstances have changed, or to confirm the history of any individual you are trying to add to the tenancy.

If you believe there could be CCJs in your name, but you aren't certain, we recommend you use an online credit check service to be sure. 

In the event of refusal due to misleading or inaccurate information provided, your payment will not be refunded.

Consent

We require signed consent to allow us to obtain references from your employer. These references are required to process your request. Please use your finger to sign on a touchscreen device. For us to begin processing your request, you must make a payment of £50.00 to cover the costs of referencing as a result of changing your tenancy agreement. If your request is declined by the landlord, your payment is fully refunded. If your request is declined by the landlord due to false/misleading information, your payment is non-refundable.
