The Renters' Rights Act Information Sheet Update

20 Mar 2026

Today, March 20, 2026, the government officially released the long-await Renters’ Rights Act

Information Sheet. This document isn’t just a guide, it’s another piece of compliance landlords in the UK must serve to their tenants.

Along with being another labour intensive piece of legislation, this document has a deadline in which it has to be served.

The consequence of not serving this document could be a fine of up to £7000.00.

How are Ultralets navigating this additional piece of legislation?

If your property is managed by Ultralets, you can ignore the panic. We have already integrated today’s updates into our workflow to ensure you stay 100% compliant without lifting a finger.

Our dedicated Renters’ Rights Act team are already hard at work getting the Renters’ Rights Act Information Sheet 2026 to all active tenancies that we manage.
