We're delighted to introduce our newest team member, Chris, to the Works Team. Chris joins us as one of our Works Team Engineers, providing essential repair, upkeep and refurbishment services to our Ultralets Landlords.
We sat down with Chris after his first week to see how things have been going, and asked him a few questions to help you all get to know him a bit better:
Can you tell us a bit about your background/experience?
I used to work with windows! Not the computer kind, but the kind you look out of. I was involved in the whole fabrication process of making them, from cutting and shaping the glass to putting it all together. I worked within a small business that specialised in quick responses to maintenance and repairs at homes.
How was your first week?
I've really enjoyed my first week. It can be daunting, starting something new, but everyone was so welcoming and supportive that it made me feel right at home. It's exciting to be a part of something that has such a positive and collaborative atmosphere, and I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds.
What attracted you to working at Ultralets?
I love helping people and working with my hands. I am thrilled that every day I get to put my skills to use to help fix and improve people's properties.
What are your favourite maintenance jobs to get stuck into?
I love getting stuck into plumbing jobs when they pop up, and I also really enjoy painting tasks and look forward to a sense of accomplishment when I finish.
What do you like to get up to in your spare time?
Spending time with loved ones and getting out camping with the family.
A word from Jack:
I’m really happy to have Chris join us. Chris has a great attitude and all the attributes we were looking for. Whilst he will be collaborating with the rest of the team I'm sure Chris’ skills and knowledge will contribute significantly to our collective success.
