Our landlords benefit from communal area services 🪓

03 Jul 2024

It's that time of year where a lot of our landlords are looking to us for their Annual Communal Services. Not sure what that's all about? Here's just a few reasons why our landlords turn to us to keep their communal areas in tip-top shape:

Retaining existing tenants
Your existing tenants want to know that they are being thought about and cared for. If their communal areas start getting run down, dirty and overgrown then you could run the risk of them looking for somewhere more pleasant to live. By servicing the communal areas you can show your tenants that you care about their living conditions and make them more likely to stick around.

Attracting new tenants
In a block of flats, you may find you have one or two rooms with void periods in a year. This means you'll want your property looking its best for prospective new tenants. If viewers of your properties see that these areas are being taken care of regularly, it becomes a much more attractive place for them to live - as opposed to viewing a flat with an overgrown garden and tired indoor area.

We've begun rolling out an Annual Communal Area Service with three options that will benefit our clients in retaining tenants and attracting new ones:

🌳 The Outdoor Service: Our Works Team will routinely visit the outdoor communal areas of your property(ies) to cut grass and de-weed, manage and maintain any overgrown hedges and trees, and clear gutters. This service is quoted based on the current state of the area and the size. There is the option to pre-book three years of service at a lower rate following the initial quote.

🛋 The Indoor Service: Our Works Team will routinely visit the indoor communal areas of your property(ies) to freshen up where needed with paintwork, glossing, cleaning and conduct facilities checkups. There is the option to pre-book three years of service at a lower rate following the initial quote.

✅ The Complete Annual Service: This is a combination of the two services above to ensure that your property(ies) are fully maintained and serviced on a regular schedule.

If this is something you would be interested in arranging, please get in touch and we will talk about how we can help.
