Managing multiple investment portfolios shouldn't be a headache. We understand that keeping track of different accounts, logging in and out, and navigating separate dashboards can be incredibly time-consuming and frustrating. That's why we're thrilled to introduce our brand-new Connected Accounts feature, designed to streamline your experience and give you a consolidated view of your portfolios, to view statements and invoices without switching between accounts.
Say goodbye to multiple logins!
Previously, clients with multiple portfolios managed by us had to juggle separate logins for each account. This meant switching between dashboards to access statements, invoices, and performance reports. We received feedback on this and recognised it as a pain point, leading us to develop Connected Accounts to solve it.
How does it work?
With Connected Accounts, you can now designate a 'primary account'. This primary account acts as a central hub, giving you a comprehensive overview of all your connected portfolios within a single client dashboard. No more logging in and out!
Who benefits from connected accounts?
This feature is perfect for clients who manage multiple portfolios with us, such as:
- Property investors with several properties: Whether held in personal names or through limited companies.
- Business owners with diverse investment portfolios: Streamlining the management of different business assets.
- Anyone seeking a consolidated view of their investments: Simplifying portfolio oversight.
The real-world context:
Let's take Jane Smith, a property investor, as an example. She owns three properties in her own name, and also manages eight additional properties split between her two limited companies, Jane's Homes Ltd and Smith Properties Limited.
Previously, Jane had to log in to three separate accounts to view her statements and invoices. Now, with Connected Accounts, she can designate her account as the primary account. From this single dashboard, she can effortlessly access and review the performance of all her properties, including those held under Jane's Homes Ltd and Smith Properties Limited.
Jane also runs Smith Properties Limited with her business partner, Harry. Harry also needs to be able to view the statements and invoices of Smith Properties Limited, but none of the others. The beauty of connected accounts means that Harry can still log into the Smith Properties account himself, which will only show the accounts for that one portfolio. The child accounts of the primary inherit no additional permissions, remaining a single login for that one account, whilst Jane has oversight across all of her accounts.
Benefits of Connected Accounts:
- Simplified portfolio management: Access all your portfolios from a single, unified dashboard.
- Time-saving efficiency: Eliminate the need to log in and out of multiple accounts.
- Clear and consolidated view: Gain a comprehensive overview of your investment performance.
- Improved user experience: Enjoy a seamless and intuitive navigation experience.
- Easier end of month reviews: Quickly examine all your statements and invoices in one place.
Not for everyone, but perfect for many.
We understand that not every client will require this feature. However, for those clients juggling multiple portfolios, Connected Accounts will significantly simplify their experience, especially when reviewing their end-of-month accounts.
