Fixflo: Improving communication with our customers

Something we pride ourselves on at Ultralets is our customer service. We like to streamline processes and find solutions so tenants and landlords can get in touch with us in the easiest and most efficient way possible.

A tool that we’ve integrated into our website to help with this is Fixflo: a repair reporting tool that lives on the ‘Report a Repair’ page of our website.

How does it work?

When a tenant notices an issue with their property, they use this system on our website to flag up the issue and describe the details. They can attach images and give specific information that helps the problem to be solved in the best possible way.

Once our team have received a logged Fixflo issue, we communicate with our works team and the landlord to ensure the right work is completed on the property at the right price in a timely fashion.

What are the benefits of Fixflo to tenants and landlords?

As well as an improvement in communication, there is also a time-saving element. When a tenant logs an issue on Fixflo that can be easily fixed, the system shows videos and gives advice so they can fix the problem themselves.

This helps to tenant to get everything back in working order as soon as possible and saves the landlord from sending down workmen to check it out.

Having a tool like Fixflo takes away some of the admin time from the Ultra Lets team too which in turn helps to keep our management fees down for landlords.

Another benefit to the system is that there’s a log of exactly what the issue is that the tenant has had and all parties can see the repairs history.

Reminder for tenants:

For us to be able to collect all repair reports in the best way possible, we ask that all issues be reported through the online system rather than calling up to report the issue. However, if this is an out-of-hours emergency, then you can get in touch with our emergency line.
