First things first, Jake - how long have you been with us?
I’ve been at Ultralets for 7 months now, it may seem like a short amount of time but I feel like I've been here much longer.
Tell us about your role within the business:
I’m an ‘Investment Sales Manager’ so I help our clients source and sell their properties and aid them in growing their property portfolios. I also help out within the lettings team which keeps me up to date with the rental demand in Hull.
Have you always been in this industry?
I’m pretty new to the world of lettings and sales but following University I worked for a private landlord as a Project Manager for 3 years which gave me some solid experience before joining Ultralets.
What does ‘a day in the office’ look like for you?
Every day has to start with making a coffee… but then I’ll jump straight into my inbox. Once I’ve replied to emails and made the phone calls I need to, you could find me sourcing new investment opportunities, meeting clients, doing lettings viewings, assisting with paperwork or photographing properties. This might sound cliché but no day is the same - keeping me on my toes!
Where’s your favourite place to go in Hull?
It’s got to be East Park. The animals, lakes and rides are fantastic. My girlfriend & I regularly take our dog for long walks there. A little tip - the cafe does the best coffee going.
